Jen Meinhardt

I am a photography enthusiast who has a passion and appreciation for art in all of its forms. I fell in love with capturing life through a lens while in my high school art classes and finally gained the courage to grow and share that passion with others in 2014.

Why I do what I do...

My favorite aspects of photography are capturing the moments that we what to re-live, but often take for granted. When you capture a moment, you capture the unforeseen feelings that are associated within that moment. The love, ambition, security, desire, hurt, etc.… The voice a true lifestyle “unposed” photograph portrays and shows priority/life values. For me it’s a voice. A positive reinforcer of what truly matters. An escape from all the negatives that surround us in the world. Even in a moment of pain/hurt it’s a way to identify and remind us of what makes us who we are and why we are stronger because of it. Granted, all my photographs are not completely unposed, but I find the moments between even those that are posed to always be my favorites!

While photography is a wonderful aspect of my life my family is always my first and foremost. In addition, I have my B.S. in Management of Human Resources and several years' experience working in sales in the arts/crafts industry.
